Fluted Wall Install Checklist
A practical checklist for installing AGT fluted wall covering — substrate, layout, adhesive or mechanical fixings, and finish protection.
Before panels arrive
Confirm substrate is flat, dry, and load-appropriate. Repair hollow spots. Acclimate panels per AGT guidance for your climate.
Stage end profiles, fasteners or adhesive system, spacers, and a laser/plumb line. Download the profile sell sheet for dimensions.
Layout and first course
Snap a plumb reference. Dry-fit the first few boards so flute pitch and starter piece land where the eye expects — usually a clean vertical near a primary view.
Work in manageable runs. Check plumb every few boards; fluted walls telegraph drift faster than flat sheet goods.
Close-out
Install end closures and corners last where the system requires them. Wipe faces with a soft, non-abrasive cloth.
Photograph the finished wall for your project record — useful for warranty context and future matching orders.
